In 2005 I began a journey that changed the direction of my
life. I boarded a plane to a country I had never been to before. In fact I had
never even been outside of my home country. I was on my way to Nazarene
Theological College in Manchester, England. I wasn’t completely sure why I was
going other than I felt that God was asking me to go. I spent three years at
NTC and am forever changed for it. I am grateful for my time at NTC, for the
people I met, and the way God used that experience to shape me into the person
I am today.
Six years after graduating, I find myself headed back to NTC. This time
to serve the community that contributed so much to shaping my worldview and that
gave me glimpses into the Kingdom of God.
NTC is located only four and a half miles from the center of the city of Manchester. It is a vibrant and culturally diverse city.
NTC’s main purpose is to prepare people for a wide range of
Christian ministry. There are typically around 30 nationalities represented
within the student body. NTC is a voice not only in it’s own community but a
voice in the communities of its students all over the world. I am so blessed
that God is allowing me to return and serve this worldwide community.
